Has a formal meeting around once a month at various venues in the Birmingham area
Has a social meeting on the first Tuesday of every month at the Green Man pub in Harborne
Organises talks and events to explore the ideas around critical and community psychology
Actively promotes teaching and research in the area of critical and community psychology
Is made up of a variety of interested people in the West Midlands area
Is open to people who are interested in critical and community psychology issues

Philosophy

The overall philosophy of the group is that therapeutic psychology should be a social, moral and political enterprise, which takes the subjective experience/knowledge of people as the starting point for emancipatory and empowering action at the individual, community and social levels.
